Nicholas Oberlies and co-workers at UNC Greensboro have reported in the Journal of Natural Products on the isolation of some peptides and sesquiterpenoids from the terrestrial filamentous fungus, Trichothecium sp.

Koshikamides

Carole Bewley and co-workers at the NIH have isolated some peptides tested with the HIV-1 infectivity assay against a CCR5-using viral envelope in order to test their inhibition of HIV-1 entry.  Koshikamides F and H had inhibited HIV entry with IC50 values of 2.3 and 5.5 micromolar.
