Yi Tang and co-workers from UCLA have reported in JACS on the characterization of a hydroxylase enzyme made up of two manganese metal centers responsible for catalysis.

Austrocolorone B and austrocolorin B1

Karen Beattie and co-workers from the University of Melbourne have reported in Tetrahedron Letters on the isolation of anthraquinones (austrocolorone B and austrocolorin B1), and the IC50 values ranged from 10–31 μg/mL towards murine lymphoblast (P388D1) cells.
