Tosyl hydrazones to substituted alkenes

William Kerr and co-workers from the University of Strathclyde have reported in Organic Letters on the conversion of tosyl hydrazones to substituted alkenes.  I’ve done a similar reaction converting tosyl hydrazones to a monosubstituted alkene using n-BuLi.
